Health & Safety (Covid Secure measures)
In response to Coronavirus (COVID-19) additional safety and sanitation measures are in place at our venue

Safety Measures
• Staff follow all safety protocols as directed by local authorities and our Governing Body STA
Mandatory for all staff working at our pool to complete ‘STA COVID-19 Officer Awareness Training’ Course and have read the ‘STA COVID-19 Guidance in preparation for UK Swim Schools re-opening Pools’ document.
• Hand sanitizer in reception area and all swimmers asked to wash hands on admission
• All swimmers reminded of new safety rules and complete a health questionnaire before swimming
• First aid kits available and PPE used to administer any first aid
• All door and windows kept open to improve ventilation and reduce touch points

Cleanliness & Disinfecting
• Use of cleaning chemicals that are effective against coronavirus
• Swimmers allocated individual labelled equipment that is cleaned before use following the STA guidelines
• Poolside, reception area, changing rooms & toilets (& all touch points) disinfected before and after classes
• Showers out of bounds

Physical Distancing
• Physically distancing rules explained and swimmers supervised and reminded at all times
• Swimmers are given their own individual allocated swim space in the pool ensuring correct social distancing
• Contactless swimming lessons – Teacher will be on poolside as recommended by the STA
• Pool capacity reduced to allow correct social distancing
• Swimmers encourage to arrive ‘beach ready’ so use of changing rooms is limited
• One-way system through pool building and allocated entry and exit points
• Carers and spectators are not permitted in the pool building.
• Lesson times are staggered – 10 minutes between lessons to prevent congestion
• Where possible all bookings, payments and communication to be completed online
